Confirmed Sony PSP 2.5 is Hacked! The Overflow is Working!

From psp3d.com. It's been confirmed! These folks have discovered a way around the TIFF overflow patch for the recent exploit discovered in firmware version 2.0. Similar to the initial exploit discovered in 2.0 this currently "freezes" the PSP when executed - allowing the possibility of arbitrary code to be ran.

UMD RIPPER v1.0

[Lande] has released another handy ISO shrinking tool which aids in reducing the overall file size of an ISO, without the use of any individual rip-kit or messy manual work!

For further information or to leave some constructive criticism, feel free to discuss it here in the forums.

The instructions are simple:

1. Uncompress your BACKUP ISO for example in ((C:\MEDIEVIL))
2. Now open the application and select OPEN ISO FOLDER, and select the FOLDER ((C:\MEDIEVIL))
3. Now in the screen you'll see all the videos, music, dummys or demos that can be ripped)
4. Select the videos, music etc.. whatever you want to rip.
5. Select RIP MODE and in 1 or 2 seconds your GAME will be ripped.
