gaeko99 has released the PSP Media Player for PSP version 0.0.5. PSP Media Player is a media player which is capable of playing AVI (DivX)/OGG/WMA files, especially DivX AVI files at 480x272 full resolution of the PSP. Information about this release: we love you, wraggster!

Welcome to 1.50, PSP firmware 2.0 users! MPH has created a WORKING downgrader from PSP firmware 2.0 to firmware 1.50. This takes advantage of the toc2rta exploit and allows for the full downgrade of firmware 2.0 to firmware 1.50. I have tried this myself and have successfully downgraded from firmware 2.0 to firmware 1.50.
Although this has been tried and found working, this does not mean there is no risk involved so use at your own risk.
Steps to use the MPH downgrader: - Create an UPDATE folder in the /PSP/GAME/ folder of your memory stick - Copy EBOOT.PBP (update 1.50) in /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder - Unpack MPHDowngrader.zip - Copy overflow.tif in your /PSP/PHOTO/ folder of your memory stick (make sure you have already changed your background to frame_buffer.png as explained in the toc2rta exploit.) - Copy h.bin to root of your memory stick (meaning in ms0:/) - Copy index.dat in root of your memory stick (meaning in ms0:/ as well) - Plug the AC adaptor
You memory stick filesystem should look like this (where X is your memory sticks directory):
X:/h.bin X:/index.dat X:/PSP/PHOTO/overflow.tif (with no other pictures in there) X:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE/EBOOT.PBP (the 1.50 Firmware update eboot)
What you do next is go into the Photo Menu on the PSP and it will show some jumbled text, which is normal. Wait about 30 seconds and then restart your PSP.
From there you will now have a new file in your PSP's root directory called ms0:/index.dat.bak. In the next step you will go to your Game Menu, Then Memory Stick, and then Launch "PSP Update ver 1.50."
It will then ask you if you really want to downgrade and then lead you along to the actual installing. Here is where I got scared. It installed to 99% then errored. This is OK. Restart your PSP and turn it back on. It will come up with another error which is OK as well. Restart it again and you will have PSP firmware version 1.50, and it will lead you through setting up language and time etc. Enjoy, and welcome to the world of legal homebrew, not piracy.

WiFi Jukebox is a client/server application which sends MP3's from your Windows PC to your PSP using WiFi and an Access Point.
The jukebox in this release is a very simple MP3 player which plays music from a user created playlist, or by selecting one file and after it is done playing the next song will play and so forth.
The PSP Jukebox creates two 10 meg buffers to hold the song it is playing and to queue up the next song to play. So MP3's larger than 10 megs will be skipped by the client currently since it doesn't use true streaming.
Once the first song is buffered it will being playing and the next song will be sent. Once both songs are buffered then you can press R1 to skip the current song and being playing the next song.
WiFi Jukebox PSP client uses libmad for mp3 decoding.
NOTE: Doesn't decode low bit rates correctly.

Following in the footsteps of the Fastloader, here is another fine homebrew app for your pleasure. This time we present you a full featured UMD emulator, reboot & exitgame tight - you have to turn off your PSP completely (or crash it ) to get it back to original state. This is a semi-final version, some things are known not to work properly for now (see below).
- play your favourite LEGIT backuped ISOs from the main menu of your PSP ! - full UMD emulation via selected ISO, either for game, video and audio ! - possibility to bypass updater check within the menu - possibility to remove/redirect updater icon - possibility to set any regioncode, even for games ... - CPU speed setup (currently for ISOs only) - sleepmode works within games now ! we thought, the psp scene is starting to get cool, but they are missing something a wonderfull DAGGAHHHHHRRR so here we are, with our first PSP game.
